Equipment

  • Heart-shaped cookie cutter
  • Saucepan
  • Heat-proof bowl

Materials

  • 10 count Babybel
  • 1 count Lindt chocolate bar (4.4oz, 125g) Replace with your favorite chocolate if desired.

Instructions

  • Get your goods lined up nicely. Take a deep breath. Unwrap them.
  • Use the cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped holes into the Babybel. Safe the cutout.
  • Melt the chocolate by using a double boiler, i.e., place the chocolate in the heat-proof bowl and place it in a saucepan with hot water. Heat the saucepan over low heat until it just begins to simmer, then turn off the stove and place the chocolate bowl over the water. In that way, the chocolate is melted in a gentle way. There are other ways to do this, see here for more info.
  • Place the Babybel on a flat tray or plate. Fill the melted chocolate into the hearts. Dip the cutouts into the chocolate in whatever way you feel it will make you happy.
  • Put the lovely creations in the freezer for about 30min to cool down.
  • Enjoy!
