On Mon, Apr 26, 2021, I will make a 2nd solo and self-supported record attempt to complete a Kokopelli’s Trail out & back (a.k.a. yo-yo or double) traverse. My first attempt did not go well. See the announcement, report, and the movie.

The planned start is on Mon, Apr 26, 2021, around 4am. You can track me in the embedded map below or go here. This time I will start—as initially planned—at the Slickrock parking/trailhead in the Sand Flats Recreation Area just outside of Moab. That seems to be the accepted start/finish for all record attempts so far. The turnaround point will be at Kokopelli’s trailhead just outside of Loma, CO.
